Cheffe (Strategy, Branding & Identity, UX/UI Design)

An app based service for hiring your own private chef. If you’re great at entertaining but lousy at cooking or washing the dishes, then this is definitely for you.

Starting its run in London, the app is built primarily on chef’s profiles that can be filtered through a built-in search bar by cuisine type, ingredients, dietary restrictions and more. Once the users have selected their chef, they can select items from the chef’s set menus and will be automatically prompted to book a date and time for the chef’s visit.

Ideation, User Flows & Iterations.

After the concept was finalized, the priority was to develop a product that was easy to use and required a minimum number of steps from user sign up to booking confirmation.

At first, concepts that incorporated a more detailed user flow proved too complicated and demoted users from finalizing a booking, prompting the team to sack a few details and incorporate what would've been more steps in earlier versions into single-click actions. By condensing several functions, such as drop-down filters into a free keyword filter, we eliminated breaking points and steps where users were more inclined to drop out.

Several iterations resulted in a simpler product with a strong brand and a language that is both familiar and intuitive, letting users finish the entire process in fewer clicks, saving time from login to check out, resulting in an increased number of complete bookings.
